Refund & Cancellation Policy

1.Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel the $22/month or annual Research Archive subscription at any time. There is no cancellation fee, no minimum term, no retention call, and no form to fill in.

• ✦Use the billing portal link in any AKASHA receipt email — this is the fastest route and takes about fifteen seconds.
• ✦Or email support@akashacodex.com from your account address and ask us to cancel. We will confirm by reply.

Cancelling stops all future charges immediately. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — you do not lose the time you bought. After that the account is suspended rather than deleted, so your Grimoire entries survive if you come back later.

2.Subscription Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, including partial periods. Because you retain full access for the entire period you paid for, we do not prorate or refund the unused remainder of a month or year when you cancel mid-period.

That said, we issue refunds in these situations, and we do it without argument:

• ✦Duplicate or accidental charge. Fully refunded.
• ✦Unauthorized charge. If someone used your card without permission, tell us and we will refund and cancel.
• ✦You could not access what you paid for. If a fault on our side prevented you from using the archive and we could not resolve it, you get your money back for the affected period.
• ✦A renewal you did not intend, caught early. If an annual or monthly renewal charges you and you contact us within 7 days having not used the archive in that period, we will refund it.

Beyond those cases, we still read every request. If your situation is genuinely unusual, write to us and explain it. We would rather resolve something fairly than win a point.

3.The Starter Initiate Kit

The $33 Starter Initiate Kit is a one-time digital purchase delivered instantly by download link.

It is refundable in full until the files are downloaded, and non-refundable afterward. Once a digital file has been delivered it cannot be returned, which is why the line sits exactly there. If you bought it and have not downloaded it, email us within 30 days and we will refund it.

If the download link fails, the file is corrupted, or the contents are materially not what was described, contact us and we will fix the delivery or refund you in full — download or no download.

4.How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Stripe typically posts the funds within 5–10 business days, though your bank sets the final timing. We cannot refund to a different card or account than the one used to pay.

Where a refund ends a subscription, archive access ends at the same time.

5.Before You File a Chargeback

Please email us first. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks to resolve; an email usually takes an hour. If we owe you a refund we will simply issue it — you do not need your bank to compel us.

Accounts with an unresolved chargeback are suspended until the matter is settled. Filing a chargeback after substantial use of the archive, rather than contacting us, may result in permanent closure of the account.

6.Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy removes rights you hold under the consumer law of your country or state. Consumers in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days — note that this right can be lost once you agree to immediate delivery of digital content and begin using it, which is what happens when you first log in to the archive.

If your local law grants you a stronger right than this policy provides, that law wins.
