Terms of Service

The agreement between you and AKASHA. Please read it before you subscribe.

Effective August 16, 2026 · Last updated August 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Tevin Brown, sole proprietor, doing business as AKASHA / Divine Mystery School (“AKASHA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the website at www.akashacodex.com, the AKASHAResearch Archive, the Starter Initiate Kit, and any course, program, or other offering we make available (together, the “Services”).

By creating an account, completing a purchase, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Read these three sections closely

Section 9 limits our liability. Section 10 requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration and waives your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Section 4 explains that subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

1.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2.What AKASHA Is

AKASHA is an educational and historical research archive. It collects, organizes, and analyzes the teachings of ancient wisdom traditions, mystery schools, and sacred-science literature, and places those teachings alongside modern scholarship and research.

The archive presents material at three distinct levels, which we label plainly throughout the research files: what a tradition itself teaches; what practitioners and frontier researchers report or propose; and what established science has and has not demonstrated. We do this so you can tell the difference. Material presented at one level should not be read as a claim made at another.

AKASHA is a research archive, not a religion, a therapy, a medical practice, or a licensed professional service. Your use of the Services creates no practitioner-and-client, doctor-and-patient, clergy-and-congregant, or fiduciary relationship of any kind. Please also read our Educational & Wellness Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

3.Your Account

When your subscription is confirmed, we create an account for you and email you initial credentials. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Change your initial password on first login, and notify us at support@akashacodex.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are personal and may not be shared. Your account is licensed to one person. You may not share credentials, sell or transfer your account, or permit others to access the archive through it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that show credential sharing.

4.Subscriptions, Billing & Renewal

The AKASHA Research Archive is offered as a recurring subscription at $22 per month or $220 per year, and the Starter Initiate Kit is a one-time purchase of $33. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply.

  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged again, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal link in your receipt emails, or by emailing support@akashacodex.com. Cancellation stops future charges.
  • Access after cancellation. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Access then ends and your account is suspended.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the payment succeeds.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days’ notice by email, subject to Section 5.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

5.The Founding Rate

The first 100 subscribers to the AKASHA Research Archive receive the founding rate of $22 per month, and we will not raise the price of that subscription for as long as it remains continuously active. This is our commitment, and we mean it.

Two conditions define it precisely, so that there is no ambiguity later:

  • The rate attaches to the subscription, not to the person. If the subscription is cancelled or lapses for non-payment, the founding rate is forfeited, and any new subscription is charged at the price then in effect.
  • The founding rate covers the Research Archive subscription only. Courses, programs, and other products are priced separately and are not included.

If you joined our waitlist before August 16, 2026 and were shown a different introductory offer than the one described here, we will honor the offer as it was presented to you at that time. Contact support@akashacodex.com and we will apply it.

6.Your License to the Archive

Subject to these Terms and your subscription remaining in good standing, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and read the archive for your own study and personal research.

You may not:

  • Copy, republish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly post the research files, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or use automated tools to extract the archive’s contents.
  • Use the archive, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or ground any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.
  • Create a derivative product, course, or competing archive from our materials.
  • Share your credentials, or circumvent any access control or paywall.

Reasonable personal use — quoting a passage with attribution, printing a file for your own study, or discussing what you have read — is welcome and expected. What is prohibited is redistribution and commercial exploitation.

7.Intellectual Property

The research files, synthesis documents, curriculum framework, interactive tools, software, design, and brand marks of AKASHA and Divine Mystery School are our property or are used under license, and are protected by copyright and other laws.

The archive discusses ancient texts and traditions that are themselves in the public domain or belong to living cultures. Our copyright covers our own selection, arrangement, translation choices, analysis, and commentary — not the underlying ancient sources.

Your content stays yours. Entries you write in your Grimoire, your annotations, and your bookmarks belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them solely to provide the Services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you believe material on the Services infringes your copyright, email support@akashacodex.com with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact information, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized. We investigate all notices and remove infringing material.

8.Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any law, or infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person, including our teachers and other members.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure.
  • Upload malware, or interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
  • Misrepresent yourself as a teacher, initiate, or representative of Divine Mystery School without our authorization.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms. Where a suspension follows a breach, no refund is due.

9.Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the archive is complete or free from error.

No outcome is promised. The archive documents what traditions teach and what researchers report. It does not promise any spiritual, psychological, physical, financial, or personal result, and no such result should be inferred.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply to you only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10.Disputes, Arbitration & Governing Law

Talk to us first. If something goes wrong, email support@akashacodex.com. Most problems are resolved quickly and without cost to anyone. We ask that you give us 30 days to resolve a dispute informally before beginning a formal proceeding.

If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis. You and we each waive the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights. Nothing here prevents you from reporting a concern to a government agency.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Where arbitration does not apply, the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. If a change is material — for example, a change to pricing, licensing, or the arbitration section — we will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription before the effective date.

12.General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Educational & Wellness Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@akashacodex.com. A mailing address is available on written request to that address.
